J1939 Virtual Bus

Live Trace Simulator

A synthetic J1939 bus running entirely in your browser — five virtual ECUs (engine, brakes/ABS, body controller) broadcast realistic, physically-plausible traffic at their real cyclic rates. Every frame shown here is decoded back from its raw bytes through the same pipeline as the CAN Parser, not just echoed from the generator — a closed loop you can verify frame by frame.

Inject fault makes the engine node broadcast a DM1 carrying three active trouble codes. It does not fit in one frame, so it goes out over BAM the way a real ECU sends it — export the log and feed it to the Trace Analyzer or the DTC Decoder to see it reassembled.
